Pale blue light
Pale blue light bloomed beneath the granite’s polished face, tracing a network like fragile veins after the stone gave way. The cool surface yielded to touch but didn't crumble; instead, deepening channels appeared, echoing branching patterns found within other rock formations nearby. A low resonance accompanied each pulse of luminescence—a vibration felt in the bones as much as heard from the diorite plates. These responses hinted at a system reacting to even the slightest pressure, and for a moment, all movement stilled.
