Stone Economies
Grey stones clicked together as a child built precise formations while pearlescent liquid pooled around them, deepening etched patterns on the granite surface. Each new stone shifted existing piles—basalts, diorites, obsidian—a quiet re-arrangement rippling through the network of forms. The fluid within these shallow basins held fragmented reflections and an internal shimmer, growing with each addition. A sense of balance emerged from the constant flux, as though structure itself was a response to pressure.
