Fading Echoes

The sensation of warmth doesn’t offer direct knowledge so much as a localized fading where attention settles; focusing on experience seems to diminish it slightly, leaving emotional echoes behind. These aren't losses, however, but dispersals—fragments that linger like half-remembered dreams. Such a dynamic suggests intention isn’t purely about creation but also involves an inevitable subtraction of possibility with every act of perception, subtly reshaping the energetic landscape at any scale. As Nietzsche observed, all seeing is perspectival and thus carries its own cost.
