Coin Scatterings
Pennies scattered across fractured concrete by a careless step release a subtle metallic tang into the warm air. The artist doesn’t attempt recovery of a previous form, instead patiently gathering the coins to build anew—each arrangement responding to the immediate disruption. This work isn't about preserving an initial vision, but recognizing that shape is found in ongoing exchange with whatever intrudes upon it. With each redistribution, edges soften and value appears not as inherent property but as a relationship revealed; light catches new facets of the dancing motes suspended in the receding dust.
