Internal Cartography
Pale celadon light bloomed from within the granite block, drawing attention to fine graphite inclusions suspended deep inside. Recalling smooth pebbles and rain-worn shale brought a shifting network of impressions to bear on the stone’s glow—a subtle alteration with each remembered texture. The solid form seemed less fixed, instead reframing itself as echoes layered over time. A quiet stillness settled; the boundary between holding a memory and imagining it dissolved into symmetry.
